Who are you guys?

Best deal on new nissan qashqai

Oh what a surprise, another lease thread being dragged off topic by the same people.
Reload this thread and look at how much of a mess it looks for anyone genuinely interested in this deal with pointless images of ugly cars. And to make matters worse people are quoting the same images over and over, ridiculous.

How is it off topic? Pictures of ugly cars are about as on topic as you can get with a juke. And as a cactus owner there aren't many cars we can look down upon in that department.

Hey, Jay! To keep off topic and anger the above poster :).
What do you think of your Cactus? I bloody love the look of them and am wishing the death of my 8yr old v50 to justify having one.

I actually rather like it. Had been looking at a Lexus CT, Prius plugin and Vauxhall ampera. The cactus was the cheapest of the 4 by far, but i loved the looks (and couldn't justify over £25k on a Vauxhall!). Incredibly comfy - even more than the other directors £100k range rover. The touchscreen can be a bit fiddly if you're shooting down b roads and wanting to change the temp, but it's the first new car I've bought and not been worried about parking next to an old couple in a micra. Rear view camera is excellent even in pitch black.
The only engine to go for is the 1.2 turbo petrol, much quicker and quieter than the diesels, and mpg is pretty damn good imo. Off the line nothing less than a 2.0 diesel can keep up. The auto is supposed to be crap though. Mines the flair model, can't remember what's extra on that though.

Only things I miss after coming from an IQ (other than ability to park in ridiculous places) is the auto dimming rear view mirror and the windows don't automatically wind down - you have to keep the button pressed down! The Sat nav does postcode search, although not obviouspress give it 5 star reviews, I'd knock a star off for the minor annoyances above.

My PCP finishes in 12 months or so, really not sure what to go for next, enjoyed my 2 years so far with it.

I got a Fiesta Zetec S Black Edition with spare wheel and privacy glass arriving next week on a 3+36 month deal. 15k mileage allowance with 3.3ppm excess mileage. £162.01 per month (£486 up front + £299 fee).
Was that any good?

It's OK - cheaper deals over the term available. Do you really need 15k miles/yr?

They called me today to cancel - why the extra week, I'm not sure.
It's a shame but at least I have until the end of July to sort another lease out.

They said that Nissan changed the prices so the lease was unprofitable.
On hindsight, I'm not sure that it was the real reason as nobody on this thread has had their lease cancelled.

Sorry to hear that.
You ordered through the linked dealership (Colliers Nissan Birmingham) and not Sandhurst?

Sandicliffe Nissan Nottingham are the people we dealt with, I thought I called the number through the honest John website

Never mind, getting a different car now, would just like our admin fee money back

This is an off road work vehicle, not saying you would always be carrying loads of bricks around in the rear, but would be interested to know how many scratches and dents would be acceptable on return?

All the large leasing firms will follow BVRLA guidelines about return condition of vehicle. For commercial vehicles this means that most damage to the load area is acceptable unless it is a quite significant dent. The rest of the vehicle will need to be returned to the same standard as any normal rented car https://issuubfwsn67/docs/lcv_fwt_standard_2015?e=2001091/12541985

Appreciate the link. This is why we never give employees leased vans.
As a matter of interest do most bosses (what %) get their staff to pay the excess on damage if there is an insurance claim? (no one injured)
Also do bosses get staff to pay lease 'damage on return' costs?
& is the above in their Terms and conditions of employment?
We have £15,0000 Peugeot Experts and some treat them well, some not, one seem to treat his van very badly (messy etc).
We have 6 monthly 'Health checks' by ATS (member of office staff knows someone who works at ATS) & the 12 month MOT and service. and weekly van check reports.
thanks

Our vehicles are shared so it's hard for us to track damage etc. We have a company wide bonus which is affected by the amount of damage to vehicles. It's helped since we brought that in. Effectively the company still foots about 75% of the damage costs but the guys make more of an effort when they know it affects what's in their pocket, even if it's only a tiny amount.

Really good idea I think we will almost certainly bring that in when we update the fleet (trying to get 7 years use and then buy them outright, they do under 15k a year) we've been putting money in a different account after the 3 years finance ended.
We do have an 'attendance bonus scheme' so staff think twice about being off - they lose their bonus after being off more than one day every six months.
Since introduction, sickness levels now are very low, for some strange reason.

I don't understand the Cold Votes for this deal. It must be by the people who get their cars on Hire Purchase and make that time old mistake of thinking they own the car. )

Obviously you can't elaborate on it as you lack the intelligence. Well done you for trolling.

Are you stupid?
£9180 plus £919 with 5000 annual mileage for a 1.2 DiG-T Acenta 5dr? and you say other people lack intelligence oO

It's £20,995 to buy new, so even if you get that car interest free it would be £350pm over 60 months. Even if you put a £5k deposit down AND it was interest free it would still be £266.60 pm, you clown.

Well, at least youve convinced yourself, thats nice for you, shame nobody else is in agreement. And for roughly 100 miles a week? Is it a show car for your drive?

My wife only does 3000 miles pa, so it would be a good deal for us. Pity I don't like the car or I would have got one for her.
On the plus side though, you've done a great job of demonstrating your trolling skills on this site. Good work buddy your family will be proud :)

Id personally just buy a slightly used car less than year old if the mileage you will put on dont justify. Usually upto 3yr warranty and sell in 2 years, likely you wont lose 5k in depreciation.

We all know though that the problem with this is that most people dont have the funds to buy a used car. Thats is why most are bought new on finance.

Thus people who drive new cars are likely to be the poorer ones especially when you see they are usually parked outside terraced houses or council estates.

But yes I agree. Buying new cars is a mugs game. I have never bought a new car especially one on finance.

LEASE LEASE LEASE - When will you people learn - YOU DONT OWN THE CAR. Your literally throwing money away. I own a Jag X type. £1000 it cost with FSH. No depreciation cos its cheap - Cost £26k new, no repair bills cos its Jag and well built, sails through it MOT every years and gues what I GET TO KEEP IT AFTER 2 YEARS without 3k down and NO car. Seriously, its just people living beyond their means Save and and buy a 3k car if that's your budget - Don't PRETEND to be something your not. You cant afford a new car because YOU CANT AFFORD A NEW CAR so stop dreaming.

You seriously have no idea what you are talking about do you. I'm not going to explain the pro's & con's because a con to one person could be a pro to another.

If I see a deal posted about say hair straighteners I will not rate the deal hot or cold nor will I leave a comment about how they are no good for whatever reason because I no nothing about hair straighteners! So why don't you do the same about a lease deal as clearly you no nothing about them!

As said before G2L have some really good deals come up but you have to act fast I have had last three cars from them all at well below rentals than any other deal I could find on the net.
